Last Sunday I had the priviledge to be part of the praise team for an outside Sunday service for the 150 0r so Sea to Sea Cyclists who are traversing our country this summer. This group is sponsored by the Chrisitian Reformed Church and are riding from the Oregon coast all the way across the country to New Jersey for the entire summer to bring awareness to issues of poverty and hunger. It is called "Sea to Sea, ending the Cycle of Humger" The service was held outside at Englewood High School and was very inspiring.
Barb and I had a chance to talk to several of the riders afterward. Many of them are blogging during the trip ,so I am including the link: Sea to Sea. If you go to the link, you can also see the acutal progress of the riders as they ride each day. Pretty cool.
I am soooo jealoous to be riding. Some day.
